Position Overview:
Join our dynamic ABA therapy team working directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. Under the supervision of a BCBA, you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed to enhance communication, social skills, and daily living activities. This role requires a passionate, reliable, and engaged professional committed to fostering meaningful client progress in a supportive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • ABA Program Implementation:Implement individualized behavior intervention plans grounded in ABA principles to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors. Follow treatment protocols with fidelity under BCBA supervision.
  • Data Collection: Collect and record session-by-session data accurately and meticulously to monitor client progress and guide treatment. Data integrity is essential.
  • Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assist clients with grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care routines using evidence-based methods to promote maximum independence.
  • Communication Support: Use ABA-based teaching strategies to develop clients’ functional communication skills.
  • Team Collaboration:Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings; contribute to care plan development and updates based on data review and observation.
  • Documentation: Complete all required clinical documentation, including session notes, data entry, and reports, in compliance with organizational policies and HIPAA regulations. Notes must be completed within 24 hours post-session using AI-assisted documentation systems when available.
  • Professional Environment:Maintain a client-centered, respectful, and positive atmosphere that encourages client growth and behavioral health stability.
  • Professional Development:Accept and apply coaching and supervision feedback promptly and professionally to promote clinical skill mastery and adherence to best practices.

Essential Qualifications:

  • RBT certification or 40-hour ABA training completed prior to start date (no exceptions).
  • Ability to work semi-independently, implementing treatment protocols with BCBA support and weekly supervision.
  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability; must start sessions on time 95%+ of the time.
  • Functional communication skills: able to request assistance or clarification proactively to prevent task avoidance or impact on treatment integrity.
  • Competence in data collection and documentation with strong attention to detail.
  • Commitment to accepting and integrating professional feedback within 24 hours to improve quality of care.
  • Understanding of and adherence to HIPAA confidentiality requirements and ethical standards per BACB RBT Code of Ethics.
  • Prior experience with developmental disabilities or ABA preferred but not required; comprehensive training provided to qualified candidates eager to learn.

Workplace Culture and Behavioral Expectations:

  • Absences, cancellations, or lateness disrupt client progress and contribute to team instability; frequent occurrences may result in corrective action or termination.
  • Receptiveness to feedback and coaching is essential; resistance undermines client outcomes and employment.
  • Active client engagement during sessions is required; passivity or non-engagement will be addressed through supervision and coaching interventions.
  • Professional communication with supervisors, clients, and team members promotes a positive and efficient team environment.

Why Work With Us:

  • Structured, evidence-based clinical environment with strong BCBA supervision.
  • Use of AI-assisted documentation tools to streamline paperwork and improve data accuracy.
  • Comprehensive training and ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Competitive compensation and career advancement pathways.
  • Meaningful work that truly impacts individuals’ lives and families.
