Duties:• Help individuals prepare and file their tax returns• Educate and explain tax preparation process and tax return to clients• Check for the acceptance of client tax returns to both IRS and CA FTB• Help clients renew and apply for Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)• Assist clients with any notices from IRS or CA FTB• Collect relevant forms and financial information to prepare tax returns• Ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws• Advise clients on deductions and credits to minimize their income tax• Maintain client confidentiality and privacy Qualifications:• Must be bilingual (Spanish/English)• CTEC license• PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number• One tax season experience filing tax returns• Time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
