Job Summary: Perform tasks needed to fabricate, assemble and install parts for custom, special purpose vehicles.Responsibilities:- Follow blueprints and layout drawings to fabricate metal products.- Operate welder, metal shear, brake press, roll former and other shop tools.- Assemble and install parts specific to job requirements.- Check quality and accuracy of work.- Maintain equipment to meet operational standards.- Follow all safety policies and procedures.- Set work priorities to meet production goals as scheduled by management.Requirements:- Previous experience in specialty fabrication such as trailers, RV’s, boats or motor homes.- Must be mechanically inclined, able to accurately measure and use math skills.- Must be able to solve problems and retain knowledge learned on site.- Must be a critical thinker and pay close attention to detail.- Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards.- Ability to lift and carry heavy items.Compensation: Based on experienceJob Type: Full-time
