Assistant Controller - Irmo Area - On Site - NEW OPPORTUNITY!

Our growing organization is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to support the accounting function and help ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Analyze financial results and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Support audits, tax requests, and regulatory reporting
• Supervise and mentor accounting team members
• Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 4-10 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems/ERPs
