“Kokoro” (心) is a Japanese word that unites heart, mind, and spirit. At Kokoro Care Network, we believe these elements are inseparable in your child’s development. Our approach honors the whole child, their thoughts, feelings, and unique way of experiencing the world – while using proven, evidence-based methods that create real and lasting progress. In Japanese culture, Kokoro reflects the belief that emotions, thoughts, and intentions are deeply interconnected aspects of being human. This philosophy guides everything we do: rather than focusing on behaviors alone, we seek to understand the whole person. It’s this deeper understanding that allows us to support meaningful growth for your child and your family.
