As a Shift Manager, you’ll lead restaurant operations during assigned shifts, support crew development, and help deliver a fast, accurate, and friendly customer experience.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll turn shift plans into action, coach your team, and maintain McDonald’s standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC).

We’re looking for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized under pressure, follows established procedures, and sets the example through hands-on leadership.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

• At least 2 years of fast-food or quick-service restaurant experience, including management, supervisory, or trainer responsibilities
• Must be 21 years or older
• A valid driver’s license
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of food safety, cash handling, and shift operations
• Ability to coach and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
• Consistent follow-through on routines, procedures, and operational standards
• ServSafe certification is a plus

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead the shift: Plan staffing, position crew members, and prepare the restaurant for service.
• Put customers first: Deliver fast, accurate, friendly service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Protect food safety: Follow and enforce food safety, health, and sanitation standards.
• Coach in the moment: Train, motivate, and support crew members through hands-on leadership.
• Drive results: Monitor shift performance, work toward targets, and take action when adjustments are needed.
• Maintain standards: Ensure food quality and keep the lobby, restrooms, kitchen, and service areas clean and organized.
• Support safe operations: Follow cash-handling policies, security procedures, and opening and closing checklists.
• Communicate clearly: Share shift results, concerns, and priorities with the management team and prepare the next manager for a successful shift.
• Lead by example: Demonstrate integrity, urgency, accountability, and teamwork.
