Full Time Position SummaryThe Security Guard Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to individuals seeking certification or professional development in security services. This role ensures compliance with state regulations and industry standards while fostering a safe and effective learning environment. Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver classroom and practical training sessions for security guard certification.- Teach topics such as legal responsibilities, emergency procedures, ethics, and conflict resolution.- Ensure all training materials comply with state licensing requirements and company standards.- Administer written and practical examinations to assess student competency.- Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance, and certification status.- Provide guidance and mentorship to students to support successful course completion.- Stay updated on changes in security laws, regulations, and best practices.- Collaborate with management to improve curriculum and training methods. Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education or certifications preferred.- Minimum 3 years of experience in security services or law enforcement.- Certified instructor status as required by state regulations.- Strong communication and presentation skills.- Ability to manage classroom dynamics and maintain a professional learning environment.- Proficiency in basic computer applications for record-keeping and presentations.- Class DI license or willing to obtain. Skills- Excellent organizational and time management skills.- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.- Knowledge of security protocols, emergency response, and legal compliance.- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles. Work Schedule- Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Compensation- 23.08/hr- Benefits after 6 months
