Employees want to be thanked for a job well done or thanked for just being a part of the team. You know what I’m talking about. So next time, instead of a pat on the back, show an employee your appreciation for a job well done by giving her or him some extra time off. You will be amazed at the results you will get, not to mention the goodwill it will generate within the office.
