About the Role

Money moves our business—and you’ll be the one keeping it aligned.

As our Cash Operations Expert, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of Cash and Cash Equivalents across Skydance (Previously Paramount). If you’re a sharp, process-minded finance professional who thrives on turning complex ledger data into seamless automation and trusted business partnerships, this is the place to make a measurable impact.

What You’ll Do

This is a high-visibility, dynamic role with a blend of core cash accounting, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous process optimization.

  • Master the Ledgers: Drive the day-to-day management, standard journal entry preparation, and monthly reconciliation of all Cash and Cash Equivalent accounts.

  • Connect the Dots: Serve as a trusted finance partner providing hands-on accounting support across Treasury, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Payroll and Production Finance teams.

  • Lead Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate monthly touchpoints with key global stakeholders to keep cash operations synchronized and transparent.

  • Maintain Gold-Standard Controls: Ensure internal policies, procedures, and SOX compliance framework controls are robust, active, and audit-ready.

  • Own Audit Operations: Partner directly with external auditors during annual reviews, managing information requests and technical inquiries.

  • Drive Automation & Efficiency: Bring a continuous improvement mindset—modifying rules, automating cash clearing processes, and standardizing workflows as activities migrate into our Global Business Services (GBS) model.

  • Mentor & Champion Projects: Guide, educate, and train junior team members while actively participating in broader finance transformation projects.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Basic Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • Experience: 4+ years of post-qualification accounting experience across a broad range of finance functions.

  • Technical Mastery: Solid grounding in US GAAP and/or IFRS, paired with a clear understanding of general accounting principles to form sound business opinions.

  • Process Leadership: A proven track record of identifying inefficiencies, proposing practical solutions, and contributing significantly to process improvement projects.

  • Language & Tech: Strong Business English fluency (B2/C1 level) and proficiency across MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, MS Project, Outlook).

  • Work Ethic: Highly organized, proactive, and resilient—with the ability to prioritize effectively, take initiative, and deliver against tight deadlines.

Additional Mindset & Qualities

  • Ownership & Analytical Mindset: Highly structured thinker who takes pride in owning tasks, leveraging problem-solving skills, and applying analytical insights to support business decisions.

  • Effective Communicator: Confident presenter, open communicator, and persuasive partner who can translate big-picture vision into actionable daily plans.

  • Role Model & Mentor: A mature, positive professional with a can-do attitude who fosters a culture of learning, collaboration, and DE&I advocacy.

  • Risk & Control Awareness: Sharp eyes for process controls, risk mitigation, and compliance.

Why Skydance (Previously Paramount)?

You’ll be joining a creative, global media powerhouse where your analytical skills help protect and propel the business forward. We value innovative thinkers who aren't afraid to challenge current processes and build smarter ways of working.
